Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) is one of the top 30 institutes in the region of Karnataka established in the year 2001 by Vivekananda Vidyavardaka Sangha Puttur. The institute is affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and recognised by Govt.of Karnataka. VCET is providing library facilities for students to improve their knowledge and explore their minds in various kind. Library consists of more than 20000 books and study materials which are cataloged and arranged with all aspects. VCET also provides E-LIBRARY facilities for students. Library are well manner and well managed by librarian which help students, faculties to find their requirements.

Sports and Facilities

The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.


A vast playground with 400m track for athletics is located adjacent to the college building. Further, Gymnasium and Health Care units are also available within the campus. Plans are underway for the construction of a Basketball Court and a Tennis Court. sports facilities available are like -Table tennis, Chess as Indoor Games,400 mts Athletic Track, Foot Ball & Hockey fields, Volley Ball, Kho-Kho, Throw Ball and Kabaddi courts and also Gym facilities for athletes and players.

Placements Training

Vcet provides training for placements .It concentrate on enhancing the various skills of the students like they are professionally trained by experts . Training programs will be focused upon Communication, Personality development, Aptitude,Logical reasoning and in various kind. Training will be given from 4th semister. Placement department is connected with all departments of the college to monitor the Students. Counselling are done by various experts.

Parking

I love punching the ceiling with my fists when I'm lost or I can't find a parking space.


Vcet campus has parking facilities for faculty as well as students . Students are not restricted to bring Vehicles to college .

Eating good food is my favourite thing in the world. Nothing is more blissful.


Vcet has canteen facilities in campus which is well mannered and well managed by college . Importance are given for food quality , taste , cleanness of canteen . Students can utilise canteen facilities which is available at affordable cost .

Hostel facility for boys and Girls

Hostel life is full of crazy memories,with little bit of glory comparision to many more fake theories.


We have hostel facilities for Boys and Girls with spacious room caters to the residential needs of the boarder's staying away from their home. Our hostel provides an environment that is conductive for concentrated study and cultivate a discipline life. Hot water supply and uninterrupted lighting system are ensured.A hygienically maintained kitchen offering too
